How this actually goes
Five steps, and most of them happen without you doing anything. We measure and quote in one visit, install in one day for most homes, and set up your app before we leave. From the day you say yes, a typical project is installed within two to three weeks — faster in the spring, longer in October when everyone wants lights before Thanksgiving.

The measurement
We walk your roofline with you and measure every run you're considering. You'll see where the track goes, how it meets your trim color, and where the controller lives. We'll show you photos of similar homes so you're not guessing. You get the footage and the price the same visit — written down, with the per-foot rate on it.

Same visit
The design
We decide together what gets covered. Front only is the most common starting point. Some people add the garage side, the back deck line, or a dormer run. Coverage is the biggest lever on price, so this is where we make sure you're spending on the parts of the house you actually look at.

Usually one day
The install
The crew arrives with track cut to your color, runs it under the roof edge, sets the controller by an exterior outlet, and cleans up. Most homes finish in a day. If yours is a two-day job, you'll know that before we start — not at 4pm on day one.

Before we leave
The handoff
We put the app on your phone, connect your system, and build your first few scenes with you standing there. You'll change a color, set a schedule, and turn it off and on yourself before anyone drives away.

After
Fixtures carry a manufacturer warranty and our installation is warrantied by us. If something stops working, you call and we come out — same crew, not a subcontractor you've never met.

When we can and can't install
We install year-round when the weather cooperates, and we tell you when it doesn't. Hanging track on an ice-covered fascia is how installers get hurt and how jobs get done badly. If your install week turns into a cold snap, we'll move you rather than force it — and we'll tell you that up front, not the morning of.
Practical advice: if you want lights on for the holidays, get measured by early October. September and October are the busiest weeks of our year by a wide margin.

How long does installation take?
Most homes are finished in one day. Larger or more complex rooflines run into a second day. We tell you which one you are before we start, not after.
Do I need an electrician?
No. The system plugs into a standard exterior outlet. If your home does not have an outlet where the controller needs to live, we will flag it during the estimate so there are no surprises on install day.
Can you install in the winter?

What happens if something stops working?
You call us and we come out. The fixtures carry a manufacturer warranty and our installation is warrantied by us. Service calls go to the same crew that did your install.
